Most of the occupations like security, construction workers, electricians, veterinarian, policemen, tour guide, lawyers, nurses, medical technicians and chefs are going to develop exertion induced muscle injury (EMI) particularly after a period of repetitive eccentric muscle contractions. The symptoms are usually muscle pain, soreness, swelling, decreased range of motion (ROM) and reduced muscle strength.
